Alana is a self-taught traditional painter based in Arizona. Her most expressive medium is watercolor, but she continues experimenting with oil, acrylic, gouache, linocut, and ceramics.

Her experience as a queer Mexican-American artist continues to inspire her work as she captures the most expressive aspects of humans.
